What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
How You Can Help
GIVE & COLLECT
GIVE – Donations of $125 made now through Giving Tuesday will be matched by The Coleman Foundation!
COLLECT – donations of cash and checks and drop off to GCS’s State Road Program using our Fundraiser Donation Form or encourage donors to give on our website (Donors can enter your name in the In Honor of box) OR get fancy and create your own GCS Fundraising Page to share with your social media contacts!

LOVE & SHARE
Throughout the month leading up to Giving Tuesday, GCS will post awesome pictures and videos of the people we support saying why they love GCS! Please like, share (retweet) these posts with your friends & family.
You can also make your own I Love GCS Because… post! Just email your video or photo w/sign to Anne and she will create your frame, share it to GCS’ Facebook & return it for you to share with your contacts on email, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.
If you’d like to add a I Love GCS overlay to your Social Media photo, email your photo to Anne and she will create your frame, and return it for you to upload as your photo on your social media accounts.

BECOME A GIVING TUESDAY BUSINESS COLLABORATOR
Businesses can become a Giving Tuesday Partner by sharing GCS support on their signage for Giving Tuesday, liking and sharing our social media posts, or donating a portion of their Giving Tuesday sales to Garden Center to help us maximize our funding match.
