I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but like to many things, it’s gotten put at the bottom of the pile. Today I’m making the commitment to jump on and blog at least three times a week. I don’t know if that will be enough because there is so much happening at the agency, and so many great stories I want to share with you. In this initial blog I want to thank everybody that helped with and attended the Walk and Roll a thon on Saturday. It was a wonderful event, brought in some much needed revenue for Garden Center, and was a wonderful celebration of the common bond that we all share.
I also want to pass on the great news about the DHS Bureau of Accreditation, Licensure, and Certification’s survey of our day programs that ended yesterday afternoon. We met 99% of the standards that were applicable to our developmental training programs!! That’s an incredible score, something we should be very proud of, and I really want to thank our staff for their hard work, dedication, and ongoing commitment to the individuals we have the honor to support.
Way to go team!!!
